Kaiser Permanente, headquartered in Oakland, California, is one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit health plans, serving 12.4 million members. As of 2020, Kaiser Permanente operates in eight states, including Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia and Georgia, plus the District of Columbia. With more than 200,000 employees, Kaiser Permanente is the largest managed-care organization in the United States, as well as the largest nonprofit healthcare plan provider.
AV Planners worked alongside Kaiser Permanente’s IT managers to design and integrate an AV system for a large conference center that offered the ability to divide the space into smaller collaborative spaces. The AV system included a large projector for conference presentations — in addition to audio, video and room controlling and scheduling systems — to help users seamlessly transition the space to smaller breakout rooms without compromising a simplified experience.
